What's the Deal: Pick N Save

Pick and Save stores in the metro Milwaukee area double coupons on Wednesday. Unlike Sentry, you must make a $25 minimum purchase (before coupons) and can only double 5 coupons per transaction. Coupons over $1.00 will not double. If you can plan your trips and do a few well executed transactions, Double Daze Wednesdays can work for you.
This ad cycle, Pick and Save is promoting their double coupon policy by printing a number of high value coupons in their flyer. The best ones I see are for 1/1 gallon of Kemp's milk, and 1/1 package of Heartland chicken. I anticipate these coupons will make for very cheap milk and chicken.
Buitoni refrigerated pasta is 2/5.oo this week, and if you buy 2 you get a free Buitoni sauce. This makes for a nice deal, as there are 1/1 Buitoni pasta coupons from the newspaper. Thus, you end up with 2 packages of pasta and a container of sauce for 1.00. Add a salad and you have a complete meal.
There's a Hormel deal: buy 10 selected Hormel products, get a dozen eggs and a pound of Hormel bacon free. Items include Hormel precooked entrees (there were 2.00/1 printable coupons available a while back), chili, corned beef hash (gag, but Baboo likes it, so . . . . okay), natural deli meats (also some printable coupons and blinkies) and Chi-Chi's salsa. If you enjoy these products, now is a good time to stock up and get the value add of free bacon and eggs.
Quaker True Delight granola bars are .75 after a 1/1 doubled coupon, as are Yoplait Parfaits.
And Dannon fruit on the bottom yogurts are .30 each after doubling the 1/10 coupon in Sunday's newspaper.
